Residence

Dandeli

2400 sqft.

Ongoing

Nestled in the Western Ghats on a West facing site, the compact residence intends to create a quiet environment. The facade is a blank wall, played with masses juxtaposed creating a neutral elevation. The interior is connected with a central court whereby all common areas are accessed from as well as connected visually.

The court has louvers on top with a turbo ventilator for air circulation. The louvers are arranged such that the space is shaded throughout the year and allowing only streaks of sunlight. The play of light and shadow defines the aesthetic of the space.
