Concept Design

​

The landscape design was prepared for the new extension of Bishop Cotton Boys School designed by VSDP, Bangalore. The intent of the design is to provide a frontage to the main block as well as create a serene atmosphere on the inner corridors. The landscape abutting the corridor opens into smaller pockets where young boys could assemble for lunch or simply sit with friends during breaks. The entrance court provides a sense of arrival, and also gives a context to the bust of the founder. The tree in the courtyard provides a focal as well as a visual point from the stairwell and floor lobbies.
